Crassula ovata (Jade Plant) Illustrated Print
An illustration of the easy-to-care-for Jade Plant; or to give it it's scientific name, the Crassula ovata. It is also know as lucky plant, money plant and money tree, and is thought to symbolise wealth and prosperity.
I am fascinated by the origins of the plants names, and have included where this plant name derives from on the artwork. Did you know that "ovata" simply means "ovate", which directly references the oval, egg-shape of the jade plant's leaves.
Pair this print with another from my illustrated plant species collection, or display it on its own to add a fun talking point to any houseplant lover's home.
